Integrity Transmission & Auto Repair is built on the knowledge and passion of Henry Villegas Sr. who has been in the automotive industry since 1986, along with Henry Jr.’s desire to be the best customer-oriented repair facility in Cypress. This goal is solidified by reviews on Google and Yelp written by our customers who we’ve come to treat as family.
Our journey started August 2010, renting one bay and a small office in Hawaiian Gardens from a general auto repair shop. We quickly outgrew that location along with our second location in Cypress in less than two years. We were blessed to move into our beautiful facility in April 2012. Our drive to be the best in our industry has led us to be the highest rated transmission repair facility in Cypress as of April 2014 on Yelp!
Our business plan is built on the stories of Henry Sr.’s two mentors, his high school auto technology instructor Mr. Howard Simpson and his first employer Mr. Vincent Hall, who believed in the customer-oriented approach of the 1930s and 50s. We can truly say that we go above and beyond in customer service, just like in the 1930s when doctors made house calls. This is something we’re happy to do if a vehicle is not drivable, so our customers can be at ease without being pressured to purchase anything and get a diagnosis even if we don’t repair the vehicle. Our main phone number is a business cell phone that we answer seven days a week as long as we are awake. And just like in the 1930s, people took pride in their work like we do and prove it with our three year unlimited mileage warranty in most cases along with our guarantee: “If we leave anything off your vehicle we will pay you $100.00”.
We also take the time to send out hand written thank you cards to our customers to show our appreciation, as well as a follow up with phone calls. Most people are amazed at how clean and organized our facility is that they can’t believe we fix vehicles there. Because of this basic business plan of treating people as family and taking pride in our space, we have numerous friends now that drop by just to say “Hello” or bring baked goods and flowers.
We would like to say thank you to all our customers for having trust in us and spreading the word about Integrity Transmission. In closing, we would like to thank you for taking time to read our story and encourage you to pursue your dreams or passion and you will never consider it work.
Henry Villegas, Sr.
Henry Villegas, Sr. knew from a young age that the automotive industry would be his calling in life. In high school, he was mentored by his auto technology teacher Mr. Howard D. Simpson. Henry was named Industrial Student of the Year his senior year in 1984 and still keeps in touch with Mr. Simpson to this day.
After high school, Henry received his AS Degree in Automotive Technology from Arizona Automotive Institute. He then began his automotive career working for renowned transmission expert Vince Hall in Los Angeles at E & V Transmission. Mr. Hall took Henry Sr. under his wing, enabling him to become one of the few automotive technicians with the ability to rebuild transmissions dating back to the 1940s. Henry Sr. now shares his knowledge with others in the transmission industry on those hard to figure out problems. His other passion in life is boxing, a skill he has been using to coach and mentor youth in his community since 1993.
Henry Villegas, Jr.
Henry Villegas, Jr. grew up watching and learning from his father and the mentors around him. After graduating high school in 2010, Henry Jr. decided he wanted to help people just as his father did all throughout his life. He proposed that together they could open and operate the most trustworthy and friendliest automotive repair facility that anyone has ever seen. Henry’s dad was impressed with his ambition and told him to come up with a name that would best describe them; a few days later, Integrity Transmission & Auto Repair was born. Integrity Transmission has been living up to their name ever since. You can find Henry Jr. all around the facility making sure everyone is treated just as if they were family. Henry’s thirst for knowledge in the industry and in life has led him to college to learn the theories of automotive repair and travels the nation to attend management seminars. Henry Jr.’s other passion is travel, and his lifelong goal is to visit at least one new country every year.
Kourtney is happily pursuing a Business Management degree at California State University of Fullerton. She enjoys working at our shop because it has taught her to be passionate in everything she does and she has gained lifelong skills that a classroom simply cannot teach. In her spare time, Kourtney enjoys being active and spending time with the people that mean most to her, including her family at Integrity Transmission & Auto Repair.
Good honest people who are out to earn your trust and your business for life.
This is an old fashioned family business with state of the art knowledge and service. Henry Sr. and family exceeded my expectations.
